FAQ
What is the recommended length of stay ? If you are a beginner, we recommend a course of 2 to 3 weeks in one or two sessions.
Do you accept complete beginners ? Yes. As a matter of fact, about 20% of our students are complete beginners.
How much can I expect to progress ? This is THE QUESTION. We promise to provide you with all the resources and personal attention you can expect from a quality language course. If you are an absolute beginner when you arrive, would you expect to be fluent when you leave after 2 or 3 weeks ? No. But if you are a motivated learner, you will be able to express yourself and hold up your end of the conversation with a French speaker who is aware that you are not a native speaker.
Will I have one teacher only on a one-to-one course ? No. You will have 3 teachers, one of them being your main teacher.
When should I arrive ? We expect participants to arrive between 05.00 and 07.00 pm on Sunday.
What if I arrive a few days earlier ? Early arrival is recommended if you come from a different time zone. We suggest
you stay in Lyon, Chalon-sur-Saône or Cluny and we will arrange for your transfer
to Corcelle.
What about departure ? The course ends on Friday after dinner. Most participants leave on Saturday after
breakfast.
Do I have to leave Corcelle at the week-end if I am staying for 2 or 3 weeks ? Of course not. Breakfast at the week-end is included in your programme and you
can stay without extra charge We will be happy to help with excursion arrangements.
I am vegetarian. If you let us know in advance, we will be happy to prepare appropriate meals for
you. The same applies if you are allergic to certain types of food.
Can I start anytime ? Courses start any Sunday evening
How do I enrol for a course ? Simply send us an email with the dates you would like to book. If the requested dates are
available, we will confirm your booking and send you a detailed needs analysis questionnnaire together with the course guide.
